Meet Ray

Ray and his wife Michele currently live in Southern California and make return visits to Michigan whenever they can. Ray discovered the love of reading at an early age and became inspired to write. Ray enlisted in the Naval Reserve while still in high school and later transferred to the Army. He was stationed in Germany and fell in love with the beauty of the country and its people. However, his winters spent in the Black Forest on maneuvers taught him - he didn’t like camping.

Ray learned a great deal about people working at IBM and the 3M Company. Co-workers and friends would frequently ask for insights into coming events and his lunchtime chats took on new meaning. His natural intuitions, fostered by Cherokee and Scottish ancestry, created strong spiritual connections, leading him to open Mystiques-West Metaphysical Center in Westland, Michigan.

During this time, Ray hosted “The Mystical Connection” a #1 radio talk show for 7 years and a live weekly TV show for 2 years. He took great joy in hosting weekly public seances for 23 years, connecting his clients to their loved ones on the other side. Ray really does talk to dead people and it ultimately led to him facilitating the last 4 National Houdini Seances sponsored by Houdini Historian Sid Radner.

Ray has written for local publications, taught classes in mediumship, lectured throughout the country, led ghost hunts and home cleansings, was supportive to the Michigan UFO organization (MUFON), worked with law enforcement and Parents of Murdered Children. You may have even seen him in a kilt, reading for the Queen at the Michigan Renaissance Festival.

Ray combines his love of writing, vivid imagination, and years of experience as a professional Spirit Medium to guide his readers into uncharted areas of the unknown.
