Michele Fraser
Michele has always had a passion for stories, writing, film and theater. In grade school her music teacher’s love for the performing arts was infectious, prompting her to get involved in theater. She also enjoyed working on the school newspaper and being editor of the yearbook. Michele starting writing screenplays in high school and was awarded a Presidential Scholarship upon graduation from Lutheran High West in Detroit, Michigan.
Michele attended U of D Mercy, aka Mercy College of Detroit and Henry Ford College. She was drawn into the arts and was active at the Cherry Hill Village Theater in Canton, Michigan.

In Seattle
Her years in the performing arts enhanced her love for the written word and she began to pursue her love for screenwriting. After moving to the Pacific Northwest, she studied under acclaimed Hallmark screenwriter, Heather Hughes, at the Seattle Film Institute. In connection to that, she became an active member of the Northwest Screenwriter’s Guild, attending weekly read throughs with fellow screenwriters and participating in numerous classes and pitch events. In addition, Michele also attended several Seattle Film Summits, learning from the best in the business, before moving to LA.

In LA
While living in LA, she has been an active member of the Story Summit Writer’s Group led by David Paul Kirkpatrick, former President of Paramount Pictures and the Production President of Walt Disney Studios. Michele also did a 10-week mentorship with renowned screenwriter, Joany Kane, who started the Hallmark Christmas craze with her movie - The Christmas Card, which broke records and was nominated for an Emmy.
As a screenwriter, Michele’s stories flow onto the paper as she strives to bring heartfelt characters and meaningful plots to the entertainment industry.
