WHO IS SEAN THOMAS?

I am a fiction writer. When I develop a story idea, it is critically important for me to find the right characters for the roles in my project. When I became acquainted with Sean Thomas, I knew that I had struck gold. Sean and his identical twin brother, Cameron, grew up near Detroit, Michigan. Their father was a Pentecostal minister, and he allowed very few variances from the tenants of their religious doctrine. As we became acquainted, I found that Sean was a consistent over-achiever.

The brothers used all the typical twin tricks to fool teachers, find love, and gain attention. Sean was a tremendously talented athlete gaining All-State Honors, in football and baseball in high school. He also started to pursue a black belt in Japanese karate. Sean originally had no plans to become an investigator, but as a member of the police cadet’s league he assisted the Ferndale police in successfully solving a couple of unresolved cases.  It was these successes that established his future potential as a private investigator. Sean didn’t realize how important these experiences would be to his future.

Following high school, he and Cam, enlisted in the Navy to see the world and distance themselves from the family restrictions. After a year of intense training they became Navy SEALs. During their tour of duty, they traveled the world, enjoyed their personal freedoms for the first time and stood tall in the defense of our country. They also made many new friends including Jerry Fox, a weapons and munitions expert who dabbled as a gunsmith in his free time. The comradery they shared as seal team members created a lifelong friendship between them.

Sean is now thirty-one years old, and stands six feet one inches tall. His chiseled body and alluring eyes are a visible magnet to members of the opposite sex. His charming and gallant nature have gotten him into more than a few sticky situations. His military travels and experience, sparked his love for the sea. Sean currently lives on the coast in Pacifica, California with an office in San Francisco overlooking the bay. I knew he had to become my protagonist.
